Aftercare Space was a participatory art installation that functioned as a transitory space for creative meditation and conversation after visitors exited the intense sensory experience of IN/OUT/THRU.
All the items in this communal crafting space were carefully selected to facilitate playful and tactile exploration of ideas and materials featured in the show.
The Aftercare Space Art Archive features the drawings, poetic musings, scribbles, and sculptures thoughtfully created by the visitors of the PUSH/PULL Exhibition Project.
The instructions were simple:
“Use whatever you’d like,
make whatever you’d like,
stay as long as you’d like.”
